Booking Through Thursday

Booking Through Thursday

Q:  Do you keep a list of the books you've read?

To complete the whole question, I have to say I keep an on-line track and a written list of books I have read, so not to re-read or buy the same book.

  1. Yeah, it really does help to keep track.

  2. Buying a duplicate book is a good reason to document...I've been known to do just that!

    Thanks for visiting my blog.l

  3. I don't buy a lot of book so buying the same book isn't a problem, although I know of people who have accidentally bought a book they read years ago and forgot about.

Are your online lists of books on your blogs? I didn't see a link to them but would love to check them out!

  4. I'm guilt of rebuying books. I've only done it a handful of times but each time its happened I've kicked myself.

Thanks for stopping by my BTT and sharing yours.

  5. I've never bought a duplicate book, but it used to happen to me with library books all the time! Thanks for stopping by.

  6. I agree with you, and that is some of the reasons why I keep track of the books I've read. Thanks for the visit today.

  7. I started the blog to keep track of what I'd currently read, because I found myself forgetting (still do) and then discovered Goodreads which also lets me track the books I want to read. I love it.2 Kids and Tired Books BTT

    1. I never re-purchased a book before, mainly because most of my books in the past were checked out from the local library. I joined Goodreads earlier this year to keep track though, and later, my blog. ^_^
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog! :)

  9. I've checked out a book from the library before. Then I wonder why it sounded so familiar. It's because I read it! Thank goodness for Goodreads.

Thanks for sharing and visiting my blog. :)

  11. Hi! Thanks for the visit to my blog!

I just like to keep track for the sake of keeping track. I have a bit of an OCD. :-)

  12. I haven't bought a duplicate book yet but it would be a reason for me to keep a record.
