CATEGORY

All things being equal, which would you prefer–a mystery? Or a love story?

I like a good tear-jerking romance like One Day by David Nicholls.

CATEGORY

Of the books you own, what’s the biggest category/genre?
Is this also the category that you actually read the most?

I mean who can resist all of the fantastic young adult titles of the past few years? They've been great!

E-VOLUTION

E-readers like the Kindle and iPad are sweeping the nation … do you have one? Do you like it? Do you find it changes your reading/buying habits? If you don’t have one, do you plan to?

I'm excited because the new $79 Kindle finally put an e-reader within my price range. I can't wait to get started with e-books. I've been waiting a long time until the e-reader prices came down below $100.

HARDER

All other thing being equal, would you rather read a book that’s hard/challenging/rewarding or light/enjoyable/easy?

From time to time, I like to learn something new through a more challenging read like 102 Minutes: The Unforgettable Story of the Fight to Survive Inside the Twin Towers by Jim Dwyer & Kevin Flynn. These types of books are not easy, but they remind you not to take anything for granted and to cherish every moment of every day.

HARD

What’s the hardest/most challenging book you’ve ever read? Was it worth the effort? Did you read it by choice or was it an assignment/obligation?

The Monster at the End of This Book by Sesame Street's Grover because it was the very first book I was able to read on my own.
