Yes, getting the ideas down on paper is the hardest thing :)
A lot of writing, i think, is done in one's mind while gathering ideas!
That's the hardest part, I think. Once you have those elements it's easier to continue on.
Ditto on what everyone else says; it's collecting your ideas that usually takes the longest/is the hardest but afterwards things just fall into place. Thanks for dropping by my blog earlier! =)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I second the "always carry a little notebook" idea. People watching can inspire me and sometimes end up writing scraps of stories on receipts or whatever scrap of paper is handy. ;)
