Q:  What book(s) have you read that you're secretly ashamed to admit.

I am not ashamed of anything I have read, but as far as the vampire series , the Sookie books are one's I never thought I would never read.

    After watching the show I wanted to read the books but I just haven't been able to get into them. Are they even any good?

    I don't read anything about vampires etc... They just aren't my cup of tea.

    I never thought that I would read a vampire series either. Never thought that I would enjoy them either. But I have read a number of paranormal books and have liked them.

    So you've never been embarrased when someone's looked at the cover of a book you're reading and given you a funny look? lol. Maybe it helps that you read them in private!

    I agree--I'm always surprised by how much I enjoy that series, even when it's not particularly great.
